The House of Representatives approved the draft Act on Prevention of Torture and Disappearance that the Senate made an amendment on Wednesday. With 287 votes of approval, 1 disapproval, 1 abstention, the law will be sent to the Prime Minister to present to His Majesty the King. And when published in the Government Gazette, it will come into force as law after 120 days.
