Pulohpuyo Incident

January 29, 2012, around 8:30 p.m. Rangers stationed at the base of Ranger Company 4302, Pulo Puyo Subdistrict, Nong Chik District, Pattani Province used war weapons to shoot at villagers' pickup trucks which had 9 passengers in the car while leaving Kayee Village, Moo 1, Pulo Puyo Subdistrict, to pray for the body (Prayer for the deceased) at Ban Thung Pho, Moo 4, Lipasago Sub-district, Nong Chik District where the incident was only 500 meters from Kayee Village on a secondary road during the roundabout before going up to the national highway. Main Resulting in 4 deaths and 4 injuries, 1 person survived the bullet.
