To commemorate the 4th anniversary of Wanchalearm’s disappearance, a Thai political refugee who was forced to disappear in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2020, Sitanun Satsaksit, Wanchalearm Satsaksit’s sister, families of the enforced disappearance network, and Cross Cultural Foundation will co-organize “4 Years of Silence, 4 Years of Voices: Remembering Wanchalearm Satsaksit”

Four years have passed since this tragic event, yet justice remains elusive for his family and friends. Enforced disappearances are grave human rights violations and are regarded as a criminal offense under international law that not only affect the victims but also inflict profound psychological suffering on their families, communities, and society.
