Four years after the enforced disappearance of Siam Teerawut: the Pursuit of Justice and a new approach via the Prevention and Suppression of Torture and Enforced Disappearance Act 15.30-19.00 at the October 14 Memorial

8th May 2023 marks the 4th anniversary of the disappearance of Siam Teerawut or Comrade Khao Niaw Mamuang (สหายข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง) who is one of the political refugees. He is charged under Section 112 (Lèse-majesté) from performing a stage play ‘Wolf Bride’ (เจ้าสาวหมาป่า). Siam was forced to disappear along with Chucheep Chivasut or Uncle Sanam Luang and Krishna Thap thai or Comrade Youngblood.

It has been 4 years since Siam’s family has begun to ask for the truth of the incident with various government agencies. However, there has been no progress.
