Dear Members,
Amnesty International Thailand would like to invite you to participate in youth panel discussion on “Sombath Somphone & Beyond: Human Rights Violation in the Mekong Region and its Impact on Mekong Youth” which will be held on 5 February 2013 from 15.30 – 19.30 at Laan Pridi, Thammasat University, Tha Prachan, Bangkok.
The Music for Peace and Youth Panel Discussion is part of the Project “Youth Perception on ASEAN and its implications on Youth”. The project aims to provide a space for young people who work for social change in the region to share information and experiences on regional concerns which relate to human rights violation like Enforced Disappearances or Freedom of Expression.
The Music for Peace and Youth Panel Discussion is organized by the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University in collaboration with Thai Volunteer Service, Justice for Peace, TERRA (Towards Ecological Recovery and Regional Alliance) and Amnesty International Thailand.
